Excellent 1 night stay . Our room was perfect, very clean, everything you'd need and even more. Great choice of tea, coffee and some biscuits as well. I drink a lot of water and it's limitless from the fridge on the stairs and it's cans, not bottles. Fantastic view from our window on the 3rd floor. Comfortable bed and high-quality bedding. And the breakfast is the best we've ever had in the British hotels! Delicious with good choice. Would definitely recommend

Unfortunately did not stay over but wish we did! Only came in for dinner and some drinks. Firstly building and decor is stunning. Secondly staff were polite, friendly. Thirdly food and drink were top notch. Just what you need after a day on the beach. I highly recommend this place me and wife enjoyed our visit.

Fantastic food and cocktails, the burgers are full of flavour, the chips are great and the chicken wings are amazing. I noticed some other people having the loaded fries after I ordered and I was tempted to go and order some myself because they looked so good. Definitely be heading back again.

Tony & Friends - Birmingham Wow – what an absolute gem in the heart of Barmouth! We’ve just had one of the best meals in a long time at The TILMAN, and it deserves shouting about. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality – the kind that makes you feel instantly welcome and relaxed. Now, let’s talk about the food – incredible doesn’t even cover it. The Asian wings were, without a doubt, the highlight of the meal – sticky, spicy, packed with flavour, and probably the best we've tasted in years. Trust us, they’re worth the trip alone! We also tackled the cheeseburger loaded fries and mac & cheese loaded fries between two of us – and what a deliciously indulgent challenge that was. Hearty, rich, and full of flavour, we barely made it through, but there was no way we were leaving a bite behind. Completely satisfying and utterly worth it. The service? Top-notch. Quick, efficient, and friendly – you can tell the staff genuinely care about the experience they’re delivering. It’s rare to see that level of attentiveness matched with such a laid-back, friendly vibe. Thank you, TILMAN, for an unforgettable meal. We’ll definitely be back before our holiday ends – and if you're reading this, do yourself a favour and go experience the menu. You won’t regret it.

Lovely nights stay. Room has everything, all the little extras. Cans of water, hot drinks and toiletries. Comfy bedand a great shower. Amazing breakfast lots of choice. Do not be put off being over a bar as you cannot hear any noise at all. Owners and staff really pleasant and welcoming. Will certainly book again.
