On holiday for a week near by and wanted to fit in a couple of sessions . Day passes are purchased easily via the link on insta and I had a query answered by email really quickly. They cram a lot of kit in a relatively tight space with a good mix of dumbells, bars, plates and machines and some cardio; some of it has seen a fair bit of use. Good value for money, and there was only a handful of people in the gym when I went. Friendly atmosphere and good gym etiquette followed i.e. putting kit away after use ( makes a nice change from some gyms). I wouldn't hesitate to use again.
A really convenient 24/7 gym with a good range of machines and weights, and a friendly vibe.
It's not staffed all of the time but a friendly welcome when the team are on duty. There's also a sunbed, shakes, drinks, food and other stuff for sale when the guys are on reception.
Great gym, easy access for non members too. Great atmosphere even when quiet as you can connect your own music to the big speaker.
Good equipment and range of freeweights.
I got a day pass on a weeks visit to Wales. I thought it's really good value for £7.
A great range of equipment in the gym (as good as I have seen in any gym) but the place needs a little TLC which is why it misses 5 stars.
A number of the machines need the leather re-upholstered and the gym could do with a good clean, there's dust and cobwebs everywhere. There's nothing to clean machines with (eg - spray / wipes) and the only drinking water is from a tap in the toilets.
The machines are packed in pretty close together in some places because of the sheer volume of equipment - personally I think you could easily drop a few less used machines and reclaim the space for a small matted stretching/core area or a water machine.
Although my review sounds critical overall this is a great gym and I enjoyed using it. The wide range of equipment is fantastic.
