We’ve eaten here many times and are never disappointed. Today was a fairly impromptu Sunday lunch. The croquettes were delicious (I could have been happy just eating plate after plate of these!) and then we chose the duck with a honey, ginger and brandy sauce - the latter was so gorgeous my husband had an extra jug. We shared a chocolate dessert - sublime. All complemented by a Portuguese red. Thank you for a wonderful lunch on a grey Sunday.
soo lovely! we had the salmon and goats cheese starters, monkfish and cod loin for mains, and the ‘alaska’, affogato, and blackcurrant sorbet for desert. all were DELICIOUS but especially the ‘alaska’, it was unreal!!
Absolutely delightful dinner! All food was simple and prepared with such care, incredibly satisfying, including desserts (and good desserts are hard to come by!). The wine selection was also really good, not too pricey but perfect for the food and very enjoyable. Excellent atmosphere and service. Will be back if in town again!
Been here twice and both times it was ace. Lovely seafood and meat dishes. There is a Spanish twist in the food (I believe the chef is Spanish). I really can’t recommend it enough. It’s not a cheap place to eat but it’s worth every penny, it’s great quality food.
Absolutely perfect. My wife and I ate here on Friday. The food was beautiful I had the beef wellington my wife had the lobster from the specials board both were top notch. We had starters and desserts too. They were equally as delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The combination of all the above made for a wonderful birthday celebration for my wife. We will certainly be visiting again. Thank you to all the staff. See you soon.
