5 months agoWe have visited Myrddins Tap many times. There is always a warm welcome and everyone is friendly. There is a fantastic range of beers and cider both bottled and on draught. Food is limited to "Bar Snacks", but they are delicious and the choice really complements the drinks menu. There is also a wide range of Gins available, I have only tried a few but they are excellent. If whisky is your tipple, try the Myrddins 3-year old, it's really good. Overall an outstanding place to visit

a month agoMyrddin’s Tap is Barmouth’s best kept secret, a must visit spot. With an impressive selection of ales from near and far, irresistible snacks, and the friendliest staff around, it’s no wonder this CAMRA award-winning pub was crowned Best in Wales 2025. Visit once, and you’ll see why and you won’t be disappointed!

6 months agoGreat bar. Excellent beer. A purple moose Porter and a Tiny Rebel stout.... So good I took 2 pints of the former away with me. Good prices too. And both Welsh 👍🏽 I was doing a bit of dog sitting, while my kids went round the shops...lovely sunny day, so I mostly sat outside. Recommended.
