3 months agoWe have visited Myrddins Tap many times. There is always a warm welcome and everyone is friendly. There is a fantastic range of beers and cider both bottled and on draught. Food is limited to "Bar Snacks", but they are delicious and the choice really complements the drinks menu. There is also a wide range of Gins available, I have only tried a few but they are excellent. If whisky is your tipple, try the Myrddins 3-year old, it's really good. Overall an outstanding place to visit

4 months agoGreat bar. Excellent beer. A purple moose Porter and a Tiny Rebel stout.... So good I took 2 pints of the former away with me. Good prices too. And both Welsh 👍🏽 I was doing a bit of dog sitting, while my kids went round the shops...lovely sunny day, so I mostly sat outside. Recommended.

2 weeks agoLovely little real ale bar but only discovered it on last night. Plenty selection of real ales, stouts and largers. Would def go back and buy bottles to take home next time.

2 months agoNever once felt welcome here on a recent visit. Frequent visitors of Barmouth for several years & always wanted to try this establishment but never managed to in all my years visiting. We finally got to visit on our recent trip and were very excited to see what was on offer. For an establishment that sells craft & local brews I felt they’d attempt to try and sell it a little more than they did. Instead, I found there attitude unpleasant and didn’t really seem much in the way of making any conversation. I distinctively remember the lady on the bar take one look at us & tell her partner he could serve instead. She then proceeded to walk down the bar & converse with one of the locals instead. We had a drink and then left. If you’re local to the area you’re probably ok, as the reviews are all generally decent. The drinks were pleasant, the price was good but the overall vibe & was I felt unwelcome from the start means this gets a 1 from me.
