3 months agoReally nice furniture and interior decor store offering a wide range of items from sofas, tables, and real wood furniture to smaller items such as throws, cushions and tableware. Walking round I was aware of the quality of the items at what seemed very reasonable prices

3 years agoThis is an Aladdins cave. Absolutely packed full of quality unusual stuff you won't find elsewhere. We went in for a look around and ended up spending £400 on 3 lovely items. Then left with plans for more purchases online where they sell with low delivery charges. The guy told us he only sells unusual stuff until he sees it popular on the internet and moves on to the next new item. Very friendly and helpful and a must visit if you're in Barmouth. Or browsing the Internet for house items

7 months agoWhat an excellent place. We have visited on two seperate occasions & bought lots of stuff. There was so much more we wanted so we arranged a home delivery for the bigger items. These were delivered this morning & I am thrilled. From shopping in store to phone calls arranging delivery all staff we spoke to were pleasant, polite & helpful & went over and above to ensure everything went smoothly. Next time we are in Barmouth we will certainly be visiting again. Wonderful items purchased & wonderful staff. Thank you

9 months agoThis place offers an incredibly vast selection of unique and somewhat random furniture and interior decor items. If you're looking for something unusual or one-of-a-kind, this is definitely the spot to visit. Personally, it’s not exactly my style—I tend to prefer simpler, more functional designs—but my wife absolutely loved it. In fact, it seems like it’s a popular destination for a lot of people with a keen eye for interior design. From what I could tell, the place was packed with customers, mostly couples, with plenty of husbands and partners waiting outside while their significant others happily explored the store. It was quite amusing to see so many blokes standing around outside, dogs in tow, clearly waiting while their partners browsed. It seems to be a bit of a theme here—guys hanging around outside while their wives or girlfriends get lost in the endless aisles of quirky furniture and decor. For those who are into this kind of thing, it’s probably a dream come true, offering a wide variety of pieces that range from the rustic and vintage to the modern and abstract. If you're looking to add some personality to your home, this place will definitely give you plenty of options. Just be prepared to spend some time there!

2 years ago5 August 2022: My partner and I purchased two plush velvet Croydon Wing Chairs (near-identical to the attached image) from Pieces for Places. There is quite a long lead time before delivery (20 to 24 weeks, but can be longer), as each chair is crafted to order. I can assure you the wait is well worth it! Refined. Robust. Ridiculously comfortable! 10/10 from us... or five gold stars if you prefer. :)
