On the busy high street, this casual pub with rooms in a classic stone building is a 3-minute walk from the train station and a 4-minute walk from the beach.
The 5 traditionally furnished rooms offer en suite bathrooms, TVs, Wi-Fi, and tea and coffeemaking facilities.

2 months agoLovely room, very nice fry up for breakfast. Thankfully we had our own earplugs for the seagulls (many, loud) but maybe it would be a nice idea to provide them to guests! We'll be back if in the area again.

4 months agoGreat little Welsh pub. Exactly as you’d imagine, great selection of drinks, good food, dog friendly. Nice to sit outside and have a drink but also inside is nice and cozy. Always worth a visit if you’re in Barmouth. Not stayed here but I definitely would.

a month agoCan’t say I was impressed. The burger was overdone, the chips needed longer in the fryer, and my dad got served a steak with no steak knife — unless you expect him to hack at it with a spoon, that’s just basic stuff. My nan’s food was okay — not much else to say. The pint of Thatchers Haz was the only saving grace — cold, smooth, and not ruined by the kitchen. To top it off, the ladies’ bathroom looked like a staff storage room, and I actually cut myself on the dodgy door lock trying to get out. Genuinely felt like I needed a tetanus shot after using the toilet. Not exactly rushing back.

3 months agoCute little find. Food was amazing and staff were lovely. We didn't stay in the hotel so I can't review the rooms etc. We both had steak and chips and it was a hearty serving.
