6 months agoVery disappointed! Read some reviews and decided to try this place. We sat inside and the place was dark and cold , even though it was sunny outside. My husband ordered fish and chips (£11). If you want tartar sauce, it’s extra ; peas are extra etc etc . I ordered the halloumi burger. The fish was bland, needed lots of seasoning . We paid extra to get some mayo and sauce just to make it taste better. The chips were anaemic and tasted bland. My burger was made up of 2 pieces of halloumi and a bit of lettuce - meh! My husband couldn’t finish the fish nor the chips. A bottle of 330ml beer was £5! We wouldn’t come back again - overpriced , tasteless .

3 months agoWow! a gem of a place to eat and drink when in Barmouth. Very helpful cheerful Owners/Staff who welcomed us and took our orders, fantastic food freshly cooked to order. A relaxed atmosphere with a good selection of drinks and a good selection of food on the menu. They have a lot of stiff opposition in the town but they out perform many of their peers! Highly recommended popping in for something to eat or drink ( including mr Clarcksons Hawstone brewery drinks from Dudley squat farm)

a year agoWhat an amazing little place! After visiting Barmouth after 4 years, it was great to find Teds for fabulous chat, fantastic service and delicious comfort-style food. Most reasonably priced compared to the other restaurants on the Quay. Kirsten served us and was also our chef, who made great recommendations and was incredibly friendly. I had the Special Korean Fried Chicken Burger and my friend had a combination of sides, raving about the flavour of the chicken wings, which we will be back for a takeaway order before we travel home. The restaurant was decorated spooky for Halloween and gave off perfect cosy-gothic-nook vibes in the booth table. Fantastic on all fronts and the Quay is fortunate to have Teds.
